Description:
Newport Playhouse &
Cabaret Restaurant
LOBSTERFEST MATINEE

Featuring the Play: Self-HELP

Depart from your area en route to the NEWPORT PLAYHOUSE AND CABARET RESTAURANT. This dinner theatre is unique...you will enjoy a great buffet, a wonderful play and a fun-filled cabaret. The Lobsterfest Menu includes a 1 1/4 lb. Boiled Live Lobster, Shrimp Cocktail, Mussels in Wine, New England Clam Chowder, Corn on the Cob, Roasted Chicken, BBQ Chicken, Creole Shrimp and Rice, a variety of potatoes, salads, watermelon and desserts.

After lunch, you'll take a short stroll from the dining room to the intimate theatre. There you will have reserved seating to enjoy some of the finest entertainment available, with professional actors to delight you with a play worthy of Broadway. Today’s play is called “Self-Help.” It is the story of Hal and Cindy Savage, two struggling actors who reinvent themselves as self-help gurus and, much to their surprise, become the world’s most revered relationship experts. Unfortunately, while their careers skyrocket, their marriage goes into a nosedive, and they soon find themselves scrambling to protect their reputations. They even try to conceal a body to hold on to their falsely-won fame.

Following the play, you’ll go back to your table to find the dining room has been transformed into a delightful Cabaret. Sit back and relax while being further entertained with music and laughter. You will board the bus for the return home with a smile on your face and a song in your heart!
