Depart from your area en route to the beautiful Green Mountain State. Our first stop will be at the famous KRINGLE CANDLE COMPANY in Bernardstown, MA. The Candle Store has over 200 fragrances under one roof! The Country Barn features gifts, gourmet food items and sweets, olive oils and teas, country home decor, jewelry, bath & body and more. The Chocolate Cottage has a wide section of chocolates, fudge and candies and offers samples of its goodies!
Don’t fill up on candy, though, because our next stop is the NEW ENGLAND HOUSE for lunch. A huge fireplace and early American furnishings create a warm and cozy atmosphere. Internationally acclaimed owner and chef, Kurt Johnson, has served as executive chef in countries all over the world. You may choose from the following entrees: New England Beef Pot Roast, Orange Tarragon Salmon or Butternut Squash Ravioli.
Our last stop of the day will be at the APPLE BARN & COUNTRY BAKE SHOP in Bennington, VT. What better way to experience Vermont’s charm than with a visit to a giant red barn filled with Vermont products and souvenirs, country bake shop, café and ice cream parlor and, of course, their own home grown apples and berries! The Apple Barn has everything you could possibly want. Included in the visit will be a delicious slice of apple pie a la mode that you can sit and savor.
