Help Your Neighbor - Community Service Event - Warm Blanket Gathering

As part of our Help Your Neighbor project, the Avon Recreation and Parks Department is hosting a Warm Blanket Event.

This program is for students grade 5 and up as well as parents.

This event is an opportunity to come together, create and connect to help families in need.
We will make warm cuddly fleece blankets that will donated to a local organization for distribution.
We will provide the materials and light refreshments.
You provide the helping hands and fun. Please bring a pair of fabric cutting scissors with you if you can.

The fee is $5.00 per family to help offset expenses.
Please feel free to bring a non-perishable food item for the Avon Food Bank.
