Crafts for Adults

• A different theme each week! Painted picture frames, glass painting, decoupage, self portraits, switchplate covers, and painted tote bags (total of 6 projects).

• Bachelor of Fine Arts anticipated from Charter Oak College (December 2016).
• Local artist, muralist, and instructor that has been teaching drawing and painting in the Farmington Valley for 15+ years.

•Participants should purchase the following:

- A smock to protect their clothing.

GLASS PAINTING:
- Any glass of your choice (wine glasses, vase, etc.).
- Glass paint (in primary colors) or glass markers ("painty pens").
- Artist's paintbrush.

PICTURE FRAMES:
- Any WOODEN picture frame of your choice.
- Artist's paintbrush.
- Acrylic paint in primary colors.

DECOUPAGE:
- Elmer's glue or "modge podge".
- Artist's paintbrush.
- Small wooden box or blank greeting cards.

SELF PORTRAITS:
- A mirror.
- Drawing paper.
- Drawing pencils and eraser.

SWITCHPLATE COVERS:
- Switch plate covers (made of plastic).
- Acrylic paint and brushes.
- "Puffy paint".

PAINTED TOTE BAGS:
- A canvas tote bag.
- Material paint (in primary colors).
