Essex Dinner Train and Riverboat Ride

We'll depart from our area to Essex Connecticut for a steam train and riverboat sightseeing excursion. Upon boarding the train you will enjoy a three course luncheon in a restored 1920's Pullman dining car. You will have a choice of a beef or chicken entree. Travel along the lower Connecticut River valley while savoring your lunch. At Deep River landing, transfer to the Becky Thatcher Riverboat for a cruise on the Connecticut River. This large, multi-level river boat provides unobstructed views of rolling green hills, fine houses, Gillette Castle, the Goodspeed Opera House and many other pleasure boats as we pass by. Following our cruise, we will return to Essex Station aboard one of the passenger cars.
