Do you go on walks alone?  Do you hike alone?  Do you shop at the mall alone?  Are you ever home alone?  If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then this class is for you!  Grab a few friends or bring your daughter and come learn how to defend yourself. 

The WAVE women’s self-defense program is a comprehensive program that deals with real-life scenarios and situations.  This is a no-frills class that incorporates martial arts moves for self-defense.

Participants should wear sneakers and loose, comfortable clothing.  No skirts or open-toe shoes/winter boots/heels. Please bring a water bottle.  

Instructor
  • The WAVE women’s self-defense program was founded and designed by Dominick Violante, 9th degree Black Belt and Public Safety Officer registered in the state of CT.
  • Bio: Mr. Violante has been studying and teaching the martial arts for 45+ years and has been involved in Law Enforcement/Public Safety for over 25 years.
  • Dominick was an instructor for the Mass. Criminal Justice Bureau and taught state, local and reserve police officers in Massachusetts, and is still involved in teaching officers in New England and New York. He has taught SWAT teams in CT and MA in weapon (Gun & Knife) disarm and defense.
  • Dominick is joined by Jeanene Violante, 6th degree Black Belt, who has studied martial arts for 30+ years.
