Please take the time to read through the handbook. Parents will also receive an email with a cover letter, an Itinerary and Packing List the Friday prior to the camp start date. Please read through this information very carefully as it will provide important information on waivers that need to be completed and everything your child will need for each day of camp.

The Avon Recreation and Parks Department welcomes persons with disabilities in all programs and services. If your child requires reasonable accommodations to a recreation program in order to participate, please indicate this when you register under the "Medical Information" section on your account and call the Recreation and Parks Department at least 3 weeks prior to the start of the program at 860-409-4332. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. If you need to complete a Medical Plan, the form is listed below.  Please be aware that if you fail or chose not to notify us of any issues that require accommodations, it may delay or inhibit your child from participating in the program.

MEDICAL INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS - Please indicate when you register your child if they have any Allergy/Medical information. Remember we are not part of Avon Public Schools and do not have access to your child's medical records or their medications. If you would like our staff to hold medication for your child (Epi-pen, inhalers), please email our office and make arrangements for a med plan to be put in place. Our staff is trained in First Aid/CPR and Epi Pen administration at our Summer Camp programs.
