Join us for the "Hike to the Mic" event!!
Join us Saturday, August 26 for a hike up Avon Mountain through Hazen Park to the Heublein Tower to attend the 9th Annual "Hike to the Mike" music and arts happening (https://hiketothemic.com). Led by Avon Land Trust. This hike will be moderately difficult.
There is not a fee to participate, but registration is required so that liability forms can be signed. Please make sure the email address on your account is up to date as registrants will receive an email a few days prior to the hike with detailed information.
Meet at 9:45* am so we can begin the hike promptly at 10 am! (email notification for the location where the group will meet)
An e-mail notification will be sent by 7:15 AM the day of the hike if the hike is cancelled due to bad weather.
Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy sneakers or hiking boots if you have them. Hiking poles are encouraged. Bring a water bottle.
