Join Reiki Master/Teacher Benu as she teaches you how to help yourself through self-practice of Reiki. Pronounced Ray-key, Reiki is a powerful Japanese relaxation technique that enhances our ability to be "mind-body-intelligent".  This state of relaxation triggers the body’s natural ability to restore itself to a normal functional state. Reiki can help reduce stress and anxiety, ease discomfort and pain, improve sleep, increase mental clarity, and support rehabilitation and recovery.

This course is designed for anyone interested in learning the art and science of Reiki. Participants will earn a Reiki First-Degree certificate upon completion of this course.

Students should wear non-restricting clothing and socks. Bring a meal and a drink.

Instructor
Benu Gopal - she has been practicing, teaching, researching, and advocating Reiki since March of 2013. She has an MD in Radiation Oncology and she has coordinated the nation's oldest Reiki program at Hartford HealthCare, has brought Reiki to McCall Center for Behavioral Health and Infinity Integrated Counseling and Holistic Wellness Center, and has offered Reiki sessions and classes through Connecticut School of Reiki, LLC.
