This class focuses heavily on prevention and navigating and recognizing potentially dangerous situations and people. You will learn how to listen to gut instincts before there is an issue. This class works to build confidence to act on instincts and critical thinking skills to help you stay safe. While traditional martial arts is not part of the program, basic but effective hands - on self- defense techniques are included. There will be instruction on how to escape grabs and holds to gain valuable seconds to get away.

Participants should wear comfortable clothing, sneakers, and bring a water bottle.
