Swim Lessons at Sycamore Pool
Our Learn to Swim programs are based on the respected American Red Cross curriculum, offering a pathway for swimmers of all ages and abilities to reach their goals. Emphasizing water safety, skill progression, and enjoyment, our dedicated instructors are committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment for every participant. Session 1: Monday, June 29th - Thursday, July 9th
Session 2: Monday, July 13th - Thursday, July 23rd
Session 3: Monday, July 27th - Thursday, August 6
Lesson Schedule:
9:40 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. 10:20 a.m. - 10:55 a.m. 11:00 a.m. - 11:35 a.m. 11:40 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. 6:45 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Level 3, 4, 5/6

Adaptive Lessons session 1*		 Level 1, 2, 3 Level 1, 2, 3 Level 1, 2, Parent/Child Adult Lesson*:  session 1 and 2, Tuesdays and Thursdays only












Two-week sessions will consist of 9, 35-minute lessons (*note: Adult Lessons are 45-minutes):
Week 1- class meets Monday - Friday,
Week 2- class meets Monday - Thursday
Note: Friday of Week 2 will be a make-up if a lesson is cancelled by the Recreation Department. Lessons are cancelled for heavy rain, lightning, or thunder.  If the weather is not suitable for lessons to take place in the water, the class will meet for a safety day on land.
Parents are only allowed on the pool deck during the last day of the session.

Pool Membership is not required to register for swim lessons, however you will receive a $15 discount on the lessons if you have a membership.

You must REGISTER FOR THE 2026 POOL MEMBERSHIP FIRST to receive the discount. If you sign your child up for lessons without signing up for your 2026 Membership, the discount will not apply and we do not honor the discount after the fact.

Youth & Adaptive Lesson Fees: $55 members, $70 non-members 
Adult Lesson Fees: $25 members, $40 non-members

Swim lessons are supervised by American Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructors.  Level descriptions are there to guide you in determining the appropriate level for your child. 

PLEASE NOTE:

1. All students will be assessed on the first day of lessons to make sure they are in the correct level. If your child needs to be moved to a different level, the child will be moved depending on availability in that particular class.

2. CHILDREN MAY ONLY BE REGISTERED FOR ONE SESSION OF SWIM LESSONS AT A TIME. We only allow you to register your child for one session of swim lessons at a time because you have to wait until the last day of the swim lesson session to see if your child passes the level or not. If the child doesn't pass the level, they would need to repeat that level. If they pass, then they can move on to the next level. If you wish to sign your child up for another session on the last day of the session they just completed, please do so at the pool.
