This program is a opportunity for the public to attend a session and learn about the State Archaeologist team's activities thus far at the recently discovered pre-colonial period Indigenous archaeological site on town-owned land along the Farmington River. The State Archaeologist team also plans to bring artifacts and images from last year's work for a 'show and tell' viewing.
Dates: Thursday, June 26th OR Friday, June 27th
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. OR 1:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.
Location: Will be disclosed to participants upon registration
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Participants are only allowed to register for one session.
Only those who are registered will be permitted to attended and escorted accordingly.
Participants should come dressed appropriately to be in the woods, wear sneakers or hiking shoes, wear pants and bug spray.
