This ballet class, taught by a professional ballerina from NEBT, introduces dancers ages 7–12 to the foundational elements of classical ballet in a fun, supportive, and age-appropriate environment. Students will learn basic ballet positions, terminology, and movement patterns while developing coordination, posture, musicality, and discipline. Each class balances structured technique with creative movement, allowing dancers to explore self-expression through dance. Whether your child is trying ballet for the first time or continuing from an earlier level, this class builds confidence, encourages artistry, and sets the stage for a lifelong love of ballet! The program will culminate in a short dance performed for parents at the last class!
Participants should wear comfortable clothes, dance shoes are optional, if no dance shoes wear non-slip socks or bare feet and bring a water bottle.
