Discover Avon's and adjacent towns' hiking trails by joining hike leaders Tom, Norm, and Jeff for a stress-free group hike every month! This hiking group is the perfect opportunity to explore/learn about Avon's parks & hiking trails, advance your hiking skills, and hike with great company. All levels are welcome. Ages 4+ allowed but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Hikes will be led at a social pace, 2-3 hours, and participants should be comfortable hiking about 3-4 miles, on moderate trails. Co-sponsored by the Avon Land Trust.
*Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time. The hike will begin promptly on the hour.
Participants should wear hiking boots and bring hiking poles and water.
Reminder to check for ticks at the end of your hike. Wear light colored clothing, tuck pants into socks, and pass a lint roller around at the end of your hike. Click HERE for more information on how to protect against ticks.
