Community Voices Youth Choir with Performing Arts Programs!
Ages 7-12
Be part of history.
As part of the Avon & Farmington 250 Celebration, children ages 7–12 are invited to join Community Voices, a special youth choir created for this once-in-a-generation community celebration marking the 250th anniversary of our nation.
Participants will learn and perform “We Stand,” an original, energetic celebration song written by Michael Lamb of Performing Arts Programs. The song reflects the spirit of Avon and Farmington standing side by side while celebrating unity, community pride, and this historic milestone.
No prior singing experience is required — just enthusiasm, commitment, and a willingness to be part of something meaningful.
Participants will receive access to a simple online practice portal with lyrics and rehearsal tracks prior to the first rehearsal, allowing them to become familiar with the song at home.
