Students will learn how to practice safe habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. Students are also introduced to the Safe Sitter First Aid chart and learn a system to help them assess and respond to injuries and illnesses. The cost includes a Safe@Home booklet with a first aid chart and what to do/whom to call information.Participants should wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle.

This week will introduce the joy of cooking to your tiny chef through hands-on skills and exploring new foods with recipes such as: Chocolate Fruit Pizzas, Ricotta Gnocchi, Strawberry Cheesecake Cobbler, and Breakfast Tacos. All recipes are nut-free and vegetarian but will contain dairy, eggs, and gluten. Participants should bring a water bottle and wear closed-toed shoes.
